Danger of Nuclear Power in an Unstable World: Not Worth the Risk

The Russian invasion of Ukraine has amply demonstrated that we as a world people are too immature to handle such a dangerous technology. The people near the Zaporizhzhya  nuclear power plant in Ukraine are now being evacuated because the Russians cannot resist the temptation to bomb and shell it with the attendant risk of a containment breach, core meltdown, explosion and radioactive release. While it is unclear what the motive for this invasion was, it is clear that such reckless behavior as attacking a nuclear reactor by the Russians, is incompatible with common sense and prudent judgement. Things can only go bad for everyone involved. We must ban all nuclear reactors along with nuclear weapons if we hope to survive as a species.
